Code of Conduct
General Conduct
- Speaking in English is compulsory within the school, in the school bus and while waiting at the bus stop to board the bus.
- Students are advised to keep their class rooms / school building campus as neat as possible and throw leftovers into the dustbins only.
- Switch off lights / fans, when not in use.
- The use of poly bags (Plastic bags) is strictly prohibited in the school and students should consciously avoid their use for any purpose.
- Using mobile phone is strictly prohibited.
- Lending or borrowing of money and other articles is not permitted.
- No cash/ valuable articles are allowed inside the campus.
- The school will not be responsible for lost articles.
- The breaking or damaging of school property that includes furniture, sports equipments, garden plants/ trees, light fittings, window panes, writing on walls etc. is prohibited. Erring students will be fined and made to pay the value of the item broken or damaged. Frequent repetitions of the above will justify expulsion from the school.
- Bursting of crackers and playing with colors or any other such unwanted activity is liable to lead to expulsion of a student from the school.
- Bullying, threatening, indulgence in any anti social activity or using foul language are punishable offences.
- The school reserves the right to suspend or take strict disciplinary action against students whose performance in studies is constantly unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful to other students.
Leave and Absence
- All students should be regular & punctual in attending the school. Minimum 75% attendance is must.
- Leaves in addition to the regular term breaks should be avoided.
- All requirements of leave should be applied for in advance, except in case of emergency.
- Leaves during periodic tests are strongly discouraged.
- Leave on account of illness during exams or otherwise will be granted only if a medical certificate (Govt. authorised practitioner) for the same is submitted.
- Application for half day leave will not be permitted.
- No parent is allowed to pick up the child unless it is an emergency. In such cases, parents should report to the office at least one hour before the departure of student.
- Students suffering from contagious diseases should not be sent to school, till the mandatory period of quarantine is over.
- If a student comes to school and takes leave from school before 11:00 am on a working day, he/she will be marked absent. However, in case of an emergency or due to health reasons, he/she will be granted leave and not marked absent.
- Attendance is compulsory on Republic Day & Independence Day. Otherwise, students will be asked to stay back till 4:00 pm for a week.
